We must equip a disciple with the latest technology so they can reach the unreached in their area.
The hidden people are right there. Hidden people are all around you and at the ends of the earth as well.
The hidden people are prepared to stay hidden. We must go and find them, tell them about Jesus in their own language. So we have a resource that needs to be put in the hands of the disciples to help them reach the end of the earth. The end of the earth is right next door for a Disciple because they are at the end of the earth from the other end of the earth. See? Find the hidden people in the picture!
With appropriate technology we make the front-line disciple a vehicle for reaching the hidden people in their area if they are aware where the hidden peoples are. Do you like news letters from the field? The Bible is a collection of news letters. If the current front-line Disciple could contact a linguist and forward information that they receive in the field they could be a vehicle for reaching the unreached. Give a Disciple a video camera in (maybe hidden in their hat), have them meet and talk with those that are hard to talk to and we have an open door to give the linguists the ability to talk to those who are hard to talk to.
We have the technology; we need to complete the commands of Christ. A Disciple with a powerful laptop computer, peer-to-peer video and audio communications, can reach the hidden people for the linguists who cannot travel to the small people groups because the linguists are in their colleges, teaching linguistics and the ends of the earth are, well, way over there, where the disciples are trying to reach them.
A Disciple could videotape unobtrusively, using hidden cameras, the hidden people and relay that to the linguist or group of linguists so they could provide a Disciple with an audiotape of instruction for the hidden people in their own languages. You can see that if this were to happen, there would be no ends of the earth that we could not reach.
The normal historic time frame for a linguist to go to the hidden people has been 20 years. Before a linguistic Disciple could communicate with the hidden people group, they needed to become "native" and live with the disciples. See the movie, "End of the spear." If the Disciple could communicate directly with the linguist real-time, the needed lengthy training and communication could be reduced to seconds.
We do not have time for training Disciple linguists to reach hidden people groups, when the groups are very small, very far apart, and very inaccessible.
Enter the satellite dish and satellite phone with eyeball cameras and radio receiver/transmission stations. We know that it would be better to put technology in the hands of that front line Disciple, that would allow those who can do the work on the front lines, do the work in their area while the linguist can sit in the comfort of their office rather than spend excessive amounts of time and money traveling to the small people groups.
Adding a small transmitter and some small credit card sized radio receivers from Galcom.com and we can broadcast in a small area, the local news and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have a Disciple who can talk across the world to whoever is willing help reach the hidden people. We give the hidden people a credit card receiver and then we can all talk to the hidden people all day or night or whatever.
Using modern technology; with a camera in their hats (for closed countries), wireless communications between the individual and their portable computer, communications between the portable computer and satellite phone, and instant communication between linguists and the hidden people groups will ensure liability of all of us to reach all of the ends of the earth.
Look, we all have a job to do, and we need tools to get that job done. With the right tools, the right people and dedication we can finish that job.
The cost for a single super communication unit is about $4000.00. By training the current Disciple in the field, making them aware that there is a need to reach the hidden people, and providing them with the ability to do so, will ensure a quick and successful vehicle for reaching hidden people groups.
These units also help the Disciple in the field communicate with their support base as well as family and friends. We know exactly where the disciples are and what they are doing just as they will know where we are and what we are doing. This technology provides us with the ability to be with them, who ever they are, and whatever they are doing. In closed countries, it also tells us when and where they disappeared.
Animation specialists provide support for all manners of mission work. An animated virtual Jesus will be able to answer questions as well as virtual Paul and others will answer the questions of the new believers, in their own language, as well. However, this technology will give the Disciple at the ends of the earth the ability to preach the Gospel in languages that the Disciple does not know.
I don't think there is a better way to spend mission money than to equip a Disciple with the technology that they need to get the work done.
As it is with all revelation by God, there is a commercial value to the project. Anyone, in any business, anywhere, can and will benefit from this project, as they will be able to walk, talk and work with anyone anywhere on any project.
The Police, Doctors, military personnel, programmers, bosses and assistants, senators and representatives as well as moms and pops and kids can use the technology. Because the units are portable and can be contained in a briefcase or backpack, there could be no more missing children or stolen vehicles or, more importantly, hidden people.
